Don't forget to notice it's Spring

Spring overwhelms me! Everywhere I look I see the wonder of God's creation bursting forth and practically grabbing me as I walk by saying "Hey YOU- taking the garbage out- look at ME!"

It's Snowball Season

The snowball bushes are in their glory all over town. Other times of the year you don't even
notice they are there, (although they do
have wonderful fall foliage) but in Spring they make
a spectacle of themselves covering their
branches with bright green floral spheres that
turn to large white snowballs. They look absolutely fabulous
as cut flowers, especially in vintage milk glass vases.

Pansy and Moss Pots

An easy and inexpensive springtime centerpiece for a wedding, special event or just because. Plant pansies and moss together 2-3 weeks before the date they are needed. Keep moist outside in a light shady spot. ( I kept mine on a table under a tree)

Official Greeter

Welcome to Old Willow Farm. Our official greeter Rascal, gives you a woofie salute. We are blessed to live on 2 1/2 acres on California's Central Coast. O.K., so it's not really a farm , but we do have a small orchard and some chickens. In the fall, we grow some very special pumpkins and sell them through local nurseries and stores.
