Remnants of the Past Antique Show

The Remnants of the Past Antique Show in Nipomo was this past Saturday and it was such a nice show. Really fun treasures and nice dealers that did a fantastic job of displaying their wares. This show is put on by Judy Watkins and her creativity shows throughout! I was privileged to be part of the decorating team for the show along with Judi Powers, Charlotte Hartley and of course Judy herself. We really wanted it to feel festive and to make everyone feel like they were a very important guest at the show so we gussied up the barn in spring colors and flowers. I forgot my camera on the actual show day (what a dork!) and so I only have a few pics of preparations in process on Thursday but hopefully you get a glimpse of the overall ambiance of the show.( For some delightful pictures of the show itself look at www.french-kissed.com) P.S. Also see Judi's photos at www.danapowershouse.blogspot.com)

Judy W. was inspired by a maypole to create this fabric festooned entrance to the barn.
