Ten Little Pumpkins

Today was the first day of the pumpkin harvest
for 2011.  I plucked and hauled home 10 little
engraved pumpkins.

As in past years, the gray/ green varieties are
the first to mature.

I love the pumpkins. I live in Indiana and would like to try making and selling these. How much do you sell the pumpkins for?

I was just on and saw a couple of your pumpkins had been "pinned" by a couple people. That of course lead me to your blog. And now I have figured out that you are the one that inspired me to scar pumpkins this year! I was checking out Dana Powers Barn as a possible wedding venue last October and saw one of your pumpkins that said "Here Comes the Bride" and I was fascinated. Here is my lame attempt at it this year - I don't have the acreage you do but next year I'm going to try other pumpkin varieties gourds too. Any chance you can share how much you sell yours for? I'm down in north San Diego County and can be contacted at And by the way, my husband and I will be up in your neck of the woods next weekend... Cal Poly Homecoming! Thanks for the inspiration.
God bless, Kim
